No. S.O.9./C.A.2/1899/S.9/2019.-In exercise of the powers conferred
by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899
(Central Act No.2 of 1899), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,
the Governor of Punjab is pleased to reduce the stamp duty from four percent to one percent leviable under Schedule 1-A appended to the said Act, on the instruments for executing a registered mortgage by the industrial units which are fully covered under Chapter 10.14 of the Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2017.
