RBI has directed the Banks to process the inward NEFT/RTGS payments solely based on account number furnsihed by the remitter Bank.

Format for specifying 15 digit account number

We are glad to inform that the 15 digit account number mechanism for NEFT and RTGS has been implemented in Corporation Bank.The customers can now mention their existing account number in ECS format for NEFT and RTGS inward remittances. The format for specifying 15 digit account number is as follows:

Example: For account SB02000101 at New Delhi – Greater Kailash Branch (0286), the 15 digit numeric account number is 028600102000101. Here 001 after branch code is account type mapping code.

Alpha numeric and new 15 digit account number (numeric) shall co-exist. That means the customers can either mention their account number as SB02000101 or as 028600102000101 for the above account. It is Corporation Bank endeavor to make the customers use only 15 digit account number in future.

This Form can be called as Application cum Debit Authority form for RTGS/ NEFT/ IMPS Transfer /Corporation Bank Transfer application form for transfer of money from Corporation Bank account to other banks. / Fund Transfer form Corporation Bank /Corporation Bank DD/FUND TRANSFER APPLICATION FORM
