NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 31st October, 2016

G.S.R. 1024(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 84 and in pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (g) of section 2 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016), the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules, namely: —

CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

1. Short title and Commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Lakshadweep Real Estate (Regulation and Development) (General) Rules, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Definitions.— (1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-
