As explained in the video (1:36:03 – 1:36:28), Capsum is an open-source specialized runtime sandbox designed to protect AI agents by isolating their execution environment.

Here is how it secures agent runtimes:

Virtual Machine Isolation: Capsum runs agents within their own dedicated virtual machines (VMs), ensuring they are contained and separate from the rest of the host system.
Observability: It provides the ability to observe the agent’s actions in real-time, allowing developers to see exactly what the agent is doing.
Policy Enforcement: Developers can apply specific policies to control and restrict the agent’s behavior.
Security Containment: If an agent is compromised or subjected to a prompt injection attack, the sandbox ensures that the rest of the system remains secure and isolated from the breach.

Google I/O Connect India 2026 successfully concluded its primary in-person flagship developer assembly on July 14, 2026.
