Law of Contract (Set of 2 Vols.) Description :-

The first edition of this work came in 2014. The work was outcome of five years’ continuous research, analytical & comprehensive study, with a view to come out with such a treatise on law of contract as presenting each of its principles unambiguously clear to the understanding of all the readers, whether bench or bar, academics or judiciary. The response to the first edition has been immense for which I hadn’t dreamt but indeed had worked very hard. It is that huge response from the readers that has guided & prompted me & my publishers to go for second edition of the work just after two years. In the second edition all the suggestions that were made for its improvement, whatever the source, have been thoroughly sifted, examined and followed so that the book is presented in a more competitive & comprehensive manner before all concerned. Although no significant development in the law of contract has been noticed in India since first edition of the book, the decisions of the Indian High Courts & the Supreme Court till first quarter of 2016, besides decisions of England, Australia & America, have been cited atrelated places in it. This is the age of e-governance, special mention has been,
thus, made of the e-contracts at several places in the book. As already stated in first edition preface, Mr. Justice M. Jagannadha Rao, former judge Supreme Court of India was inspirational guidance behind the writing of the book.
And now, more motivation has come from yet another distinguished jurist of India Mr. Justice Arijit Pasayat, ex-judge Supreme Court of India. I am heartily indebted to him for sparing some precious time for going through the pages of the second edition, advising & suggesting things for its betterment & ultimately writing a kind forward for it. The forward written by him has truly affixed seal of authenticity on this work.
