NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026

S.O. 2406(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the National Sports
Governance Act, 2025 (25 of 2025), the Central Government hereby appoints the 12th May, 2026, as the date on which the provisions of sub-sections (3), (4) and (5) of section 5, section 7, sub-sections (8) and (9) of section 17 and sections 18, 19, 21, 28 and 29 of the said Act, shall come into force.
