NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026

S.O. 2419(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 136 of the Code
on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned below
to be the authorities for the purpose of giving sanction of prosecution of offences relating to Chapter V and
Chapter VI under the said Code in relation to all establishments for which the Central Government is the
appropriate Government under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of the Section 2 of the said Code, namely:-
a. Chief Labour Commissioner (Central)
b. Additional Chief Labour Commissioner (Central)
