NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026
S.O. 2455(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 56 of the Code on Wages,
2019 (29 of 2019), the Central Government hereby specifies the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to compound the offences punishable with imprisonment only, or with imprisonment and also with fine under the said section, in relation to which the Central Government is the appropriate Government, within the respective jurisdiction specified against them in column (3) of the said Table thereof, namely:-
