Holder Categories: Accounts can be opened by a self-applicant, as a joint account (Joint A: All or Survivor, Joint B: Either or Survivor), as a minor through a guardian, or for a person of unsound mind through a guardian.
Additional Facilities (For Savings Accounts): Applicants can opt for a Cheque Book, an ATM Card, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, an IPPB (India Post Payments Bank) Account link, Aadhaar Seeding, or government insurance/pension schemes like PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY.

Formatting: The form must be filled strictly using CAPITAL LETTERS.
Documentation: Self-attested copies of identity and address proofs are required. If an Aadhaar Card or enrolment proof is unavailable, acceptable alternative documents include a Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, MGNREGA Job Card, or National Population Register letter.
Specific Scheme Requirements: * A Birth Certificate is mandatory for a Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA).
- Proof of age (document number, issue date, and issuing authority) must be provided for a Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS) account.
