NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd June, 2026

S.O. 3278(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the
Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 (13 of 2025), the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O.3987(E), dated the
1st September, 2025, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, in category II. SEAPORTS, after serial number 40 and
the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“41. Haldia (West Bengal)”.

Note: The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii), dated the 1st September, 2025 vide number S.O. 3987 (E), dated the 1st September,
2025 and amendments issued vide notifications S.O. 5306(E) dated 20.11.2025 and S.O. 2706(E)
dated 29.05.2026.
