Notification regarding the appointment of a Board Member as the representative of the Ministry of Railways on the Board of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th June, 2026
G.S.R. 514(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 of Section 3 of the Major Port
Authorities Act, 2021 and in partial modification of the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Ports,
Shipping & Waterways (PHRD Division) G.S.R. No. 74 (E) dated 28th January, 2022, the Central Government hereby
appoints Chief Freight Transportation Manager (CFTM), South Coast Railway (SCoR) as the representative of the
Ministry of Railways on the Board of Visakhapatnam Port in place of Chief Freight Transportation Manager (CFTM),
East Coast Railway (ECoR) with immediate effect.
