NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd June, 2026

S.O. 3305(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan
Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st
day of July, 2026 as the date on which the provisions of the said Act in so far as it relate to amendments to
the Presidency Small Cause Courts Act, 1882 (15 of 1882), as mentioned against serial number 3 of the
Schedule to the said Act, shall come into force.
