NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd June, 2026
S.O. 3301(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas
(Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints the 23rd day of June, 2026,
as the date on which the provisions of the said Act, in so far as they relate to serial number 7 and the entries relating
thereto in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), shall come into
force.

(Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints the 23rd day of June, 2026,
as the date on which the provisions of the said Act, in so far as they relate to serial number 20 and the entries relating
thereto in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956 (31 of 1956), shall come
into force.
