Draft Aircraft (Security) Amendment Rules 2017

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 11th January, 2017

G.S.R. 37(E). ––Whereas, the following draft of certain rules to amend the Aircraft (Security) Rules, 2011 which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4, read with section 5 of the Aircraft Act, 1934 (22 of 1934) is hereby published as required by section 14 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the Gazette of India in which this notification is published, is made available to the public;

And whereas, any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the aforesaid period, shall be considered by the Central Government;

And whereas, any person desirous of making any suggestions or objections with respect to the said draft rules may forward the same, within the period so specified, to the Director General, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Awing, 1st – 3rd Floors, Janpath Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 [email: ddpol.bcas@nic.in].

1. (1) These Rules may be called the Aircraft (Security) Amendment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
