No. 40/2015-20

Subject: Amendment in export policy of Pulses.

S.O. 483(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby amends, para 2 of Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 20.01.2016 read with Notification No. 78(RE-2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 and Sl. No. 54 in Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items, with immediate effect.

2. The amended para 2 of Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 20.01.2016 will now read as: “The prohibition on export of pulses till further orders as notified vide Notification No. 78(RE- 2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 read with Sl. No. 54 in Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items, as amended from time to time, will not apply to export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs upto 1 (one) Kg”.

3. Effect of this notification:

Export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs upto 1 (one) kg has been permitted.
