ORDER
New Delhi, the 7th July, 2026

S.O. 3690(E).— In pursuance of section 37 of the Coastal Shipping Act, 2025 (20 of 2025), the Central
Government hereby exempts foreign vessels chartered by a unit set up in the International Financial Services Centre at
the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat from the requirement of a license under
section 11 of the said Act.

Explanation.- For the purposes of this order, the expression “International Financial Services Centre” shall
have the meaning assigned to it in clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the International Financial Services
Centres Authority Act, 2019 (50 of 2019).
