The ICAI has always been at the service of the Nation with all its resources, expertise and efforts to make the laws simple, transparent & fair in India. Last year, the Indirect Taxes Committee had submitted its suggestions on GST Act, Rules etc. at seven different stages. Out of which, 140 suggestions have been accepted by them and we can say that objective of making the GST simple, to some extent, has been achieved.
The Department of Revenue has unveiled draft GST Return forms seeking comments/feedback, therefore, we request you to provide us with various issues and suggestions on draft Return Forms for making them simple, fair and transparent to improve ease of doing business and facilitate trade. The suggestions may be submitted latest by 20th August, 2018 at the following link according to return type along with issue involved :
