NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th September, 2026
G.S.R. 847(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 2026, namely:-
In sub-paragraph (1) of Paragraph 7, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
“(iii) who has been a member of the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 2026, but not the member of this Scheme and whose wages on the date of notification of the new wage ceiling is less than or equal to wage ceiling notified by the Central Government.”
2. This notification shall come into force on the 17th September, 2026
