NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026
S.O. 2458(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 31 of the Code on Wages,
2019 (29 of 2019), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O 2571(E), dated the 30th September, 2014, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby notifies the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be the authorities to call upon the employer to produce the balance sheet before it, from his establishment, in relation to which the Central Government is the appropriate Government, situated within the jurisdictional area specified, respectively, against them in column (3) thereof, namely:-
