S.O. 5142(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) (d) and sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), read with rule 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, the Central Government hereby re-appoints Shri Kamlesh Chandra Varshney, IRS (IT:1990) (Retd.), to the post of Whole-Time Member, Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), beyond 19.09.2026, till he attains the age of sixty-five years i.e., 04.08.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
