Reply Income Tax Notices by 31st March

The Income Tax Department has asked the taxpayers under investigation to respond to the notice by March 31, 2022. The Income Tax Department appealed to the taxpayers by tweeting about this on Wednesday.

Under Section 144 of the Income Tax Act, the Income Tax Officer can assess the total income or loss and on the basis of this, give his decision, to determine the tax liability of the taxpayer.
