Scholarship for needy children of CAPFs and Assam Rifles personnel
About 300 needy children of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty in recognition of their sacrifice will be provided scholarship for their schooling.
M/s Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) Bangalore have proposed scholarship for the children as a good gesture to recognize the sacrifices of the CAPFs and Assam Rifles personnel.
The following categories of children are entitled for monthly scholarship as indicated against each category:
| 1 | Children studying from 1st to 4th standard. | @ Rs. 500/- per month |
| 2 | Children from 5th to 7th standard | @ Rs. 750/- per month |
| 3 | Children from 8st to 12th standard | @ Rs. 1000/- per month |
MHA will provide details of these 300 children to SDF to remit the eligible amount into the accounts of the guardian of such children.
