Sub: Change in Data Type
It has been decided to implement change in data type for capturing figures/values of the parameter(s) from alpha numeric to numeric under all categories viz. Certificate, GST &Tax Audit and Audit & Assurance Functions in a phased manner at UDIN portal, starting with Audit & Assurance Functions category first. The changes will be deployed in the midnight on Friday i.e. 6th December, 2024 for Audit & Assurance Functions subsequently followed by GST & Tax Audit on 13th December, 2024, and for Certificates on 20th December, 2024. The purpose of capturing mandatory figures/values in numeric is to maintain the uniformity in the figures/values entered by members for UDIN generation.
The functionality to be used for implementing the proposed change on the portal is demonstrated as:
The figures will be displayed in the same format as stated above under the “List UDIN” in member’s dashboard, as also to the verifier in the verifier panel.
The change in aforementioned data type provision comes into force with immediate effect.
