1. Mandatory Remittance Thresholds

- Sender Details: You must provide your branch name, date, base account number, full name, mobile number, and PAN (pp. 1-2).
- Beneficiary Details: You must input the beneficiary’s name, receiving bank name, specific branch name, and the branch’s IFS Code (pp. 1-2).
- Double Account Number Entry: As per strict RBI guidelines, you must write the beneficiary’s account number twice in separate grid boxes to prevent transactional errors (pp. 1-2).
- Account Type: You need to specify if the destination account is Savings (SB), Current (CA), Overdraft (OD), Cash Credit (CC), NRE, a Credit Card payment, or an Indo-Nepal remittance (pp. 1-2).
3. Payment & Settlement Options
- Funding Method: You can fund the transfer either by authorizing a direct debit from your account or by enclosing a physical cheque along with its cheque number (pp. 1-2).
- Breakdown: The form separates the principal transaction Amount, the bank’s Exchange/Service charges, and the calculated Total Amount in both figures and words (pp. 1-2).
4. Legal Conditions & Disclaimers
- Customer Risk: The remittance is executed at the sender’s own risk; the bank holds no liability for transmission delays, errors, or decoding mistakes (pp. 1-2).
- Refund Clause: The sender formally undertakes a legal commitment to refund the bank immediately if any over-remittance occurs during processing (pp. 1-2).
- Receipt Proof: The left-hand section operates as a Counterfoil, which must be stamped with the Bank’s Seal and signed by the cashier to serve as your acknowledgment receipt (pp. 1-2).
