View supporting calendar delegates in meeting guest list

When viewing a guest list in Google Calendar on the web, you will now see a new icon next to leaders who have a calendar delegate assisting them with scheduling support. Hovering over the icon will display the person’s information, allowing you to easily initiate a chat with them directly.

This update helps users quickly identify and contact the appropriate scheduling support for a leader to streamline communication and event coordination.

Getting started

Admins: There is no admin control for this feature.
End users: There is no end-user setting for this feature. Simply hover over the icon next to the person’s name to see more information about their scheduling support.

Rollout pace

Rapid Release domains: Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting on July 23, 2026
Scheduled Release domains: Full rollout (1–3 days for feature visibility) starting on August 3, 2026

Available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts

How to Interact With It

Locate the Icon: Scan the event guest list for the distinct scheduling assistant icon adjacent to the name of a participant or company leader. [1]
Hover for Context: Position your cursor directly over the icon. [1]
View Information: A pop-up card will display the specific delegate’s contact information. [1]
Initiate Chat: Click the provided shortcut on the card to immediately launch a direct Google Chat conversation with that scheduling assistant. [1]
