The Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) is now providing Georgia public library cardholders with no-cost access to Google Career Certificates and Google AI courses. This partnership helps Georgia residents gain valuable, high-demand skills for today’s fast-growing careers, with no college degree or previous experience required.
The flexible, self-paced online training programs cover:
- Google AI Professional Certificate: Hands-on training that helps learners build AI fluency, write effective prompts and apply generative AI tools to streamline everyday workplace tasks.
- Google Career Certificates: Job-ready training in fields seeing massive employer demand, including cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing & e-commerce, IT support, project management and UX design.
Graduates of the career certificate programs gain access to an exclusive job platform to connect directly with Google’s employer consortium of more than 150 major U.S. companies, including AT&T, Deloitte and Google. Over 70% of Google Career Certificate graduates report a positive career outcome within six months of completion.
