NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th September, 2026
S.O. 4992(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following amendment in the notification published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, vide number S.O. 5088(E),
dated the 1st November, 2022, namely:-
In the said notification, in paragraph 4, after the words “services and posts”, the words and letter “of
Group ‘A’” shall be inserted.
