This document is the formal Application Form and Terms & Conditions for the “Centralcard Visa Gold” credit card issued by the Central Bank of India.
👤 Eligibility & Enrolment Criteria
- Age Bracket: Applicants and add-on card members must be Indian residents between 21 and 65 years of age.
- Identity Verification: The form captures the applicant’s Mother’s Maiden Name, which is explicitly used to verify identity over the phone.
💰 Fees & Financial Charges
- Zero Initial Cost: There are no joining fees and no annual or membership fees levied for this variant.
- Finance Charges: Revolving credit or unpaid balances attract a finance charge of 2.75% per month (compounded) from the transaction date.
- Penalty Charges:
- Late payments incur a fee of ₹100 per month.
- Cheques returned unpaid (bounced) carry a ₹150 fee per event.
- Requesting a duplicate statement costs ₹100 per statement.
⚙️ Card Features & Payment Facilities
- Auto-Debit Setup: Account holders can link their Savings or Current accounts to automatically pay either the Minimum Amount Due (MAD) or the Total Amount Due on the due date. If left unmarked, the bank defaults to debiting the total amount due.
- Alert Services: Features an integrated subscription section for E-mail statements and Mobile Alerts to track transactions and events.
- Revolving Option: Users can choose revolving credit by paying a minimum monthly payment of 5% of the outstanding balance.
🔒 Security, Liabilities, and Right of Set-Off
- Add-On Liability: Financial liability for any Add-On card issued to family members rests entirely on the Primary/Principal Cardholder.
- Theft Protocol: Cardholders must immediately notify the bank of card loss via phone/telegram and provide a copy of the police FIR via Registered AD letter to cease financial liability.
- Bank Right of Set-Off: The bank maintains the right to consolidate any outstanding card balance with any other account the cardholder holds at the bank to recover dues.
📑 Mandatory Application Enclosures
Applicants must attach a copy of the following four items:
- Address Proof: Ration card, Passport, Driving License, or electricity/telephone bills.
- PAN Card copy.
- Income Proof: ITR copy, Form 16, or salary slips.
- Bank Statements: Historical data covering the last 12 months.
