In June, Google Labs introduced Dreambeans, an experiment that creates personalized daily collections of stories. Now, Dreambeans is available to all accounts ¹ in the U.S. (18+) on Android and iOS.

Every dreambean is a combination of:

Personalized topics: This could be everything from places to explore, shows to watch, or a reminder of upcoming events.
Connected apps: Distilled information from the Google apps you select, including Calendar, Gmail, Photos, Search, YouTube, and now Gemini.

If you’ve connected Google Photos, Dreambeans can incorporate visuals of you and your loved ones into your stories and provide thoughtful ways you can engage with them.

Cross-App Intelligence: With your permission, Dreambeans aggregates and synthesizes information from your selected Google ecosystem—including Gmail, Calendar, Photos, Search, YouTube, and Gemini.
Overnight Processing: The name “Dreambeans” comes from the way the AI works while you sleep to distill massive clutter into a concentrated, actionable drop of inspiration for your morning.
Anti-Doomscrolling: Unlike traditional algorithmic feeds, it provides a strictly limited, finite collection of daily stories. Once you finish reading your “beans” for the day, the feed stops.
Custom Art: The app utilizes Google’s Personal Intelligence and the Nano Banana 2 model to draw cartoon illustrations for your stories, even integrating stylized versions of your own face, friends, or pets from Google Photos.
Privacy & Control: Users maintain full control over which apps are connected and can delete their data or turn off connections at any time directly through the app settings.
