New Delhi, the 22nd September, 2026
S.O. 5212(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) (d) of section 24 of the Tribunals Reforms Act, 2026 (17 of 2026) read with clause (c) of sub-rule (7) of rule 3 and sub-rule (2) of rule 10 of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021 and in pursuance of Office Memorandum of the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice number J-18/57/2026-JUDICIAL/E. 195818 dated the 27th August, 2026, the Central Government hereby extends the tenure of Ms. Meera Swarup, IA&AS (Retd.), as Technical Member of the Securities Appellate Tribunal for a further period from 09.09.2026 to 09.03.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
