Introducing JioTag 2
The JioTag 2 is a second-generation smart Bluetooth tracker designed to help users locate misplaced personal belongings like keys, wallets, or luggage. It is engineered for broad compatibility, supporting both Android (via Google Find Hub) and iOS (via Apple Find My).
Key Features:
- Audio Tracking: Includes a built-in, loud 120dB buzzer to help pinpoint the location of items within Bluetooth range.
- Durability: Features an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and splashes.
- Design: Compact build, measuring 32 mm in diameter and 8.9 mm in thickness.
- Battery Life: Operates on a replaceable battery with a claimed lifespan of approximately one year, with an extra battery often included.
- Network Support: Leverages global community tracking networks to help find lost items even when they are outside your immediate Bluetooth range.

- Dual Ecosystem Support: Android users can pair the tag with Google’s Find Hub network (running Android 9 or later), while iPhone users can track items natively using the Apple Find My network (running iOS 14.5 or later). [3, 6]
- No SIM Card Required: The tracker functions entirely on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beaconing protocols. It does not require cellular connectivity or a monthly data plan. [3, 7, 8]
- Crowdsourced Global Tracking: When an item goes out of standard Bluetooth range, nearby anonymous iOS and Android devices securely relay its position back to the owner’s app via their respective global networks. [3, 7, 8]
- Loud 120dB Buzzer: Misplaced items under a couch or in another room can be audibly located by triggering a built-in 120-decibel speaker from your smartphone. [3, 9]
- Built to Last: It features an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and uses a user-replaceable CR2032 coin battery. Jio includes an extra battery in the retail box, giving you up to 2 years of battery life right out of the box. [3, 8, 10]
