NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th May, 2026
S.O. 2695(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (5) of section 2 of the Code on Social Security,
2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby authorises the Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Additional
Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner and Assistant Provident Fund
Commissioner, to function as authorised officers for the purposes of Chapter III of the said Code.
