NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 2026

S.O. 2418(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (16) of section 2 of the Code on Social
Security, 2020 (36 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column (2) of the
following Table to be the competent authorities for the purposes of Chapter VI of the said Code for the area specified
against them in column (3) of the said Table in relation to all establishments for which the Central Government is the
appropriate Government under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of the Section 2 of the said Code, namely:-
