Today at Made by Google, we’re announcing that a new slate of connected apps are coming to Gemini to help you get more done. By turning on your favorite services in Gemini, you can easily plan, create, and tackle your to-do list all in one place.

Over the next few weeks, we’re rolling out the ability to connect with tools across a variety of categories:

Productivity and creativity: Summarize meetings and edit your website with Granola, Otter.ai, and Wix.
Local and entertainment: Book local experiences, rent a car, reserve your next dinner, and search for event tickets with Fever, GetYourGuide, Localiza, OpenTable (UK), and Ticketmaster.
Music: Discover new stations and stream your favorite playlists with iHeartRadio and Pandora.
Home, health, and lifestyle: Find a home professional with Angi or Thumbtack or book a doctor’s appointment with Zocdoc.

To enhance the utility of the AI platform, a new slate of 13 external connected apps and services has been integrated into Gemini. This expansion moves Gemini from a text-based conversational assistant into a central layer capable of orchestrating daily real-world actions. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Productivity & Creativity: Summarise professional meetings or modify websites via voice commands using Granola, Otter.ai, and Wix.
Local, Travel & Entertainment: Directly purchase event tickets, book rental vehicles, or schedule local activities using Ticketmaster, OpenTable (initially UK only), Fever, GetYourGuide, and Localiza (Brazil-based).
Music & Audio: Stream playlists and discover audio stations directly through iHeartRadio and Pandora.
Home, Health & Lifestyle: Schedule a physical checkup or hire a local contractor using Zocdoc, Angi, and Thumbtack. [1, 2]

⚙️ How to Enable Third-Party Connected Apps

You must manually authorise these external connections through your profile configuration: [5, 6]

Activate Chat History: Ensure that Keep Activity is explicitly toggled On by navigating to Settings > Activity in the Gemini Web App.
Access Personal Intelligence: Click the Settings icon and look for Personal Intelligence or Connected Apps.
Toggle and Authenticate: Find the chosen external app, slide the toggle to On, and sign in via the secure OAuth window to verify account permissions. [3, 6, 7]
