Sending SMS to the pensioners at the time of settlement of their pension claims

It has been decided to send SMS at the time of settlement of pension claims (Form 10 D). IS Division/NOC has been requested to make modification in the software so that SMS is sent when the PPO is approved/signed and forwarded to the main branch/Link branch. However, till such time such modification is made, it is requested that arrangement be made to send the SMS at your end. The text of the SMS will be as under-
Dear pensioner, your pension claim is sanctioned for monthly pension of Rs. ____ _ vide PPO No. dated . The PPO has been sent to your Bank. Further, pension arrear of Rs. is also sanctioned for the period from ___ _ to . You may contact your Bank after 15 days.”
