Google.org is funding three long-term partners on education and AI

Educators are at the heart of learning. As AI evolves, Google.org is committed to helping navigate this next frontier while keeping the vital teacher-student relationship front and center.

We are announcing new funding at the 2026 ISTE conference to support three long-term partners:

  • aiEDU: Co-developing comprehensive AI readiness strategies with leaders of high-need K-12 districts while also building open-source blueprints other districts can follow. This expanded effort builds on a model that has already reached over 48,000 educators and impacted nearly two million students nationwide.
  • ISTE: Funding a field study, summit, and insights report on AI-informed assessments to save educator time and advance personalized student growth.
  • Renaissance Philanthropy: Supporting the Reimagining Assessment initiative, featuring an open call this September and an RFI open for your input today.
