NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th May, 2026
S.O. 2670(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Actuaries Act,
2006 (35 of 2006), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii) dated 30th March, 2026 vide S.O. No. 1654 (E), dated 30th March, 2026, namely :—
2. In the said notification, for serial no. 1 and entries relating thereto, the following said Presiding Officer and
entries shall be substituted, namely:—
“1. Ms. Varsha Chandra Sinha – Presiding Officer;
Joint Secretary & Law Officer
Department of Legal Affairs,
4th Floor, A- Wing,
Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi-1 10001”
3. This notification shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
