NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 26th May, 2026
F. No. 53/849/GAD/CN/2026/3219-3262.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of
the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881), read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home
Affairs’ Notification No. U-11030/2/73-UTL dated 28.06.1973, and in partial modification of this
Department’s Notification No. F. 53/812/GAD/CN/2025/4503-4539 dated 04.12.2025, the Lieutenant
Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to declare that the holiday on account of
Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), earlier declared on 27th May, 2026 (Wednesday), shall now be observed on
28th May, 2026 (Thursday).
