Critical Rules Before You Fly

To ensure your service works smoothly without interruption, keep these operational requirements in mind: [2, 4]

Activate inside the US: You must activate your Google Fi service and use it within the United States for at least one day before leaving. You cannot activate a new line while abroad. [2]
Primary US Residence: Google Fi is designed for users residing primarily in the US. If you use data abroad for extended periods (typically exceeding 90 consecutive days), your international data will be suspended. [2, 4, 11]
