NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026
S.O. 2361(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 137 of the Code on Social Security, 2020 (36
of 2020), for the purposes of regulating the initiation of prosecution proceedings under the said Code, the Central
Government hereby notifies Insurance Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Regional Director Grade
‘A’/Director, Regional Director Grade ‘B’/Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, appointed under subsection (7) of Section 24 of Chapter IV of the Code, for the purposes of the provisions of section 137 of the said Code, within their respective territorial and functional jurisdiction.
