NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026
S.O. 2362(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 138 of the Code on Social
Security, 2020 (36 of 2020) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 54 of the Social Security (Central) Rules, 2026, the Central Government hereby authorises the Director General or Insurance Commissioner or Additional Commissioner or Regional Director Grade ‘A’/Director or Regional Director Grade ‘B’/Joint Director of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation to exercise the powers of compounding officer under the said Code from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette, in relation to all establishments covered under the provisions of the said Code relating to Chapter IV.
