The video outlines the step-by-step process for registering a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) on the TRACES portal as follows:
- Log in: Visit the TRACES website and log in using your PAN and password as a deductor (0:20–0:30).
- Access Profile: Navigate to the ‘Profile’ section located on the top right-hand side (0:34–0:37).
- Signature Settings: Click on ‘Profile’ and select the ‘Signature’ option on the left-hand side. Ensure your ‘Authorized Person’ details are updated in the profile (0:40–1:12).
- Download Utility: Download the latest Embridge utility from the provided link on the portal, extract the zip file, and install it on your computer (1:14–1:45).
- Sign and Register: Click ‘Save and Proceed.’ Select your DSC certificate from the dropdown list, ensure your DSC is connected to the computer, and enter your DSC PIN (1:45–2:02).
- Troubleshooting: If an error occurs, ensure the Embridge utility is updated to the latest version (2:05–2:12).
- Confirmation: Once signed, your DSC will be successfully registered. You can verify the details, such as the issuer name and expiry date, by clicking on ‘View DSC’ (2:15–2:40).
