NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th August, 2026
S.O. 4709(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Assisted Reproductive Technology
(Regulation) Act, 2021 and Section 17 of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021, the Central Government hereby
includes Smt. Rekha Sharma, Member, Rajya Sabha as Member in the National Assisted Reproductive Technology
and Surrogacy Board. Accordingly, para (c) of the notification no. of even no. dated 4th May, 2022 (which was
modified vide notification of even no, dated 2nd January, 2025) shall read as under:
(c) Dr. Kadiyam Kavya and Smt. Bharti Pardhi, Members of Lok Sabha and Smt. Rekha Sharma, Member
of Rajya Sabha as Members.
