Time Extended to Pay GST & Penalty of detained / Seized Goods जीएसटी और पेनल्टी भुगतान का समय बढ़ा

Section 129 of CGST Act 2017:  Detention, seizure and release of goods and conveyances in transit  : Amended by CGST Amendment Act 2018 w.e.f 01.02.2019  in order to increase the time limit before which proceedings under section 130 (Confiscation of goods or conveyances and levy of penalty )   can be initiated from seven to fourteen days.
