- Video Creators: The introduction of Veo 3 in Google Vids is designed for anyone interested in creating AI-generated video clips, whether you are a seasoned creator or just starting your video storytelling journey (0:03 – 0:08).
- The Symbol Academy Community: The second half of the video addresses the Symbol Academy community, specifically announcing updates for their students and staff, such as fall sports tryouts and a new STEM program for the upcoming fall semester (0:19 – 0:39).
Generating video with Veo 3 in Google Vids is easy. Open the Vids editor, click the Veo icon in the right sidebar, and type a prompt describing your scene. You can even use up to 3 images as ingredients or select an AI Avatar before generating your clip.

How to Generate Clips with Veo 3
Follow these steps to create your AI-generated videos:
- Open Google Vids: Access the app directly on your computer.
- Access the Veo Tool: In a new project, click Create video clips with Veo, or click the Veo icon in the right sidebar if you already have a project open.
- Add Ingredients (Optional): Click Ingredients to upload up to 3 images or select an AI Avatar with a synthesized voice.
- Enter Your Prompt: Describe the subject, tone, audio, and style you want. For example: “A cat walking down a fashion week catwalk” or “A worker delivering an intro for a corporate safety video.”
- Generate & Insert: Click Create to preview the AI-generated result. Once you’re satisfied, click Insert to drop the clip (complete with background music and sound effects) directly into your timeline.
