Google expanded its hardware ecosystem by certifying the first Android-based (AOSP) all-in-one touch display devices for Google Meet.
Unlike traditional deployments that require a separate Google Meet Compute box (like a Chromebox) or an external PC, these newly certified all-in-one displays integrate the camera, microphones, speakers, and Android-based computing directly into a single unit. They also support native interactive whiteboarding mid-call using Google Workspace add-ons like Figma, Lucid, and Miro.
The newly certified devices from Neat and Logitech include:
1. Neat Board Series
Neat has rolled out native Google Meet support across its entire premium all-in-one touchscreen lineup, running on Android 13. These devices leverage built-in hardware AI like Neat Symmetry (advanced auto-framing) and Neat Boundary.
-
Neat Board 32: Designed for smaller spaces, personal executive offices, and phone booths.
-
Neat Board 50: A highly versatile display suitable for traditional meeting rooms, open collaborative zones, or mobile/portable cart setups.
-
Neat Board Pro: A premium, larger-format setup engineered specifically to handle medium-to-large corporate boardrooms.
2. Logitech Rally Board 65
Logitech’s flagship all-in-one offering brings the Google Meet on Android experience to a massive interactive display.
-
Form Factor: A 65-inch interactive touchscreen running Logitech’s CollabOS.
-
Target Environment: Ideal for flexible spaces, brainstorming zones, and standard meeting rooms.
-
Key Features: It features specialized AI video intelligence (RightSense), adaptive audio, and a versatile camera design that can be mounted either above or below the screen depending on whether participants are standing for workshops or seated at a table.
Deployment & Admin Details
-
Management: Once connected, these devices feature zero-touch enrollment and automatically populate within the Google Workspace Admin Console, giving IT admins the same telemetry data, device health monitoring, and remote control as classic ChromeOS Meet hardware.
-
Activation: The hardware is available for order through authorized partners. Native Google Meet support is activated via immediate firmware updates rolling out to the devices.
